Happy Father's Day!!
So this is already a day late. But I just wanted to get that out there because sometimes you just need to acknowledge the men-folk in your life.
We went to brunch at Virigl's Cafe here in northern Kentucky. It is a nice little joint. Wasn't sure what to expect since we have tried several different restaurants here and the cost was outrageous and the food was only mediocre. We were spoiled in Portland with the best food. My mouth is drooling thinking about all the places we were able to go to and get the best meals for cheap compared to this place. Like here, here, and here. If you are in Portland you must go!
Bad picture alert!!! I had to take photos with my iphone and I'm not one of those people that can take good photos with their phones. One day, I'll remember to bring my camera with all the other crap I take in my diaper bag. Until then, I'll work on taking better photos.
Here is Ryan with no beard! SOB! I really love my man with a full beard. I think the only beings that shouldn't have a beard are women... But anyway...Here are Ryan and Ambrose waiting for their food. Ryan doesn't like to take pictures and will hardly ever make a normal face. So the majority of pictures you will see of him will be like this.
Petra gets an A for her behavior at breakfast. She sat pretty quietly the whole time and ate a ton of food. Yippie! What you don't know is that she has been sick for a few days and refused to eat which only made her tantrums worse and she gave me about 4-5 diaper bombs all day. I'm talking nukes here people not some silly stinky poop. These are dry heaving, whole box of matches lighting, eye watering poops. Where did it all come from?
My lovely in-laws have been in town for about a week so Ryan and I finally got to go to a movie. LOVED it! Hurray for date night. Even though we were both so worn out from the long week - we have been wanting to see Man Of Steel since we saw the first preview. I don't care what the critics say. We thoroughly enjoyed the film. It was a little weird at first to not have Virgil chilling in my Ergo or on my hip but that weirdness was quickly overcome with excitement that I was out with Ryan without the terrorists!
