What I Wore on Sunday

This past Sunday we went to a church that has an awesome playground. The kids get to play depending on their behavior during mass. Well unfortunately for my son he was misbehaving so he got benched for 7 minutes; I give out 1 minute for every infraction. He seems to be on a tantrum streak this past week. Ugh. My ears are bleeeeeeding. Oh, for those of you who don't know, "benched" means time out on the bench and you get to watch your siblings play and have fun. Thank you to my older sister for coining the term.

He looks all sweet and innocent here doesn't he? He has learned to take the bench willingly or stay on the bench the whole time. 

My beloved husband snapped this one..."wait I'm not.." snap. At least you can see my outfit. The pic below is a better one. Not really ready but at least there's a smile on my face.

I'm a walking Land's End advertisement. We purchased a washer and dryer set from Sears and received a whole lot of points so I use that with sales and end up getting some pretty sweet deals.  Simple outfit that I think looks put together and is comfortable.

What I Wore on Sunday

Doing my first link up with Fine Linen and Purple with What I Wore on Sunday. Make sure you put on some ray bans because the shine in my forehead will blind you. We took this photo at the very last second and I wanted to take another one but the kids....that's all I have to really say because you understand don't you? My shirt was unbuttoned but I'm covering a HUGE yellow curry stain that looks like fresh baby poo. Virgil twisted in my arms as the spoon was about to reach my mouth and then there you have it...it looked like I was lactating yellow poo because it landed squarely on boob.

Petra decided to join me for the photo sans one sock.

Skirt: Made by me because I love maxi skirts and I really really really wanted a pink one but didn't want to pay $$$.
